October 16th 

  • Purr-fectly Spooky Paint Party: 6-7:30pm. Rockford, MI. Get ready for a fun and festive party filled with creativity, giggles, and just a touch of spooky magic! Our Black Cat Acrylic Paint Party is the purr-fect event for young artists of all skill levels. We're so excited to be partnering with Rockford Community Services. Event will be at Rockford High School. Purchase tickets online. 

October 18th 

  • EGR Harvest Beer & Spirits Festival: 12-6pm. Join in Downtown Gaslight, where Wealthy Street comes alive from Jose’s to Olives for a day full of fall fun. Enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere with activities for all ages—pumpkin painting, scarecrow building, carnival games, live music, and more. Sip and savor from 10–14 local breweries, two Michigan wineries, and select canned spirits. Grab a bite from local food trucks or visit one of Gaslight Village’s great restaurants. Live music on the big stage all day long. Admission is free, and tasting tickets will be available in advance and on event day. This event benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities of West Michigan. 

  • Visit Rockford Tree Farm: 10am. Rockford, MI. Come visit the farm! Donuts, cider, pumpkin carving, music, family photos, and fun. You can also reserve your tree at this event if you'd like and come to pick it back up closer to the holidays. Hope you see you there! October 19th 

  • Pumpkin Painting with Accidental Art: 1-3pm at Third Nature Brewing Co. Accidental Art will be bringing a variety of small pumpkin figurines for you to choose from. Picking your pumpkins is first come first serve so come early for the best selection! Cost is $12 per pumpkin. Our paint is non-toxic and washes up easily! This project is great for all ages. Pumpkins painted during this event will be ready for pick up on Saturday, October 25th at Accidental Art.Follow this link to signup and reserve your spot.

  • Wicked Wednesday: 6-8pm. The Gaslight Village Business Association invites community members of all ages for a fun afternoon of trick-or-treating, games, retail and restaurant specials and more at participating Gaslight Village businesses. 

October 23

  • Trunk or Treat in the Biergarten: 5-8pm at Third Nature. Join them this Halloween for a fun-filled event packed with thrills, treats and memories you won't forget. We'll have live music, giveaways, s'mores kits and more! Costumes encouraged.

  • Stock the Shelves: 6-8pm at Epilogue Books. Downtown Rockford. The Rockford Education Foundation invites you to browse the shelves at Epilogue, enjoy snacks from Thought Design, drinks from Quickwater Coffee, and help us fund new books for Rockford schools! Bring a friend and be part of making a local impact and community connections - one book at a time. There is no ticket admission to this event. Light appetizers will be served and beverages are available for purchase. Sponsor the event or donate online here

October 24th 

  • Trunk or Treat - Downtown Rockford, MI: 4:30-7pm. NEW LOCATION this year! Local businesses will be set up in the Ram Stadium/Parkside parking lot to hand out candy. There will be balloon animals and photo ops while you wait to enter! Free for all to attend! Costume contest, live music, entertainment, and more! 

  • Ada Pumpkin Prowl: 5pm. Get ready for a spook-tacular trick-or-treating adventure along River St (closed to traffic for the event), in the Dixon Lot and throughout Ada Village!   • Halloween Costume Party: 11am-8pm at St. Julian Winery. Rockford,MI. Get ready for a spooktacular time at our Rockford Tasting Room Halloween Costume Party! No pressure, no contests—just pure fun. October 25th

  • Dog Costume Contest: 2:30-4:30pm at Third Nature Brewing Co. Bring your fur baby in their Halloween costumes to the Biergarten for a costume contest! We're partnering with Fido & Stitch Rockford and you'll have the opportunity to win a gift card to 3N & Fido & Stitch! Feel free to go for a walk on the White Pine Trail before/after and grab a drink or a snack with your four legged friend in our Biergarten. Voting will take place at 4:30 pm.

  • Applewood HostFest: 12pm-7pm at Frugthaven Farm. Greenville, MI. Celebrate fall with us at our Høstfest presented by Applewood! From pumpkin bowling and apple launchers to specialty cocktails, fall desserts, and football on the big screens — there’s something for everyone!”

October 26th 

  • Trunk or Treat Fall Festival at Crossroads Church: 5pm. Join us for a "Fun, not Frightening" Trunk or Treat! Enjoy candy, games, costumes, music, and some fellowship with those in the Rockford Community.

  • Cannonsburg Village Trunk or Treat: 4-6pm at Cannonsburg Village. Trunk-to-Trunk Trick-or-Treating, free Donuts & Warm Cider, and Kids' Choice Voting: Best Decorated Trunk. 

October 28th 

  • Halloween Costume Beer Run: 6-8pm at Third Nature Brewing Company. Bring the entire family out for a fun Halloween costume run! Meet us in the Biergarten by 6 pm for the opportunity to win Third Nature gift cards for best dressed! After the awards you can take off on the White Pine Trail for a run, walk or ride. Be sure to stick around afterwards and reward yourself by grabbing some dinner and a cold beverage. All participants 21+ will get $2 off of your first adult beverage!

October 29th

  • Fall Craft Party at the Krause Memorial Library: 10am-12pm. Crunchy leaves, orange pumpkins and plenty of squirrels – celebrate the season with all sorts of amazing fall-themed crafts. For families with children.

ON Going

  • Autumn Evenings at Meijer Gardens: 5-9pm. Join them every Tuesday evening in October for Autumn Nights at Meijer Gardens! Wander the new illuminated Pumpkin Walk in the Gwen Frostic Woodland Shade Garden, where lantern pumpkins and gourds glow among the trees. Play lawn games on the DeVos Van Andel Piazza, take in live music at Michigan’s Farm Garden, and relax with unplugged performances in the Amphitheater. Savor seasonal snacks, hot cider, and drinks while enjoying the vibrant colors of fall and extended evening hours. Members receive free admission.

  • The Haunted Forest: Dare to enter the woods at Cannonsburg Ski Area this October, where every twisted turn leads deeper into your worst nightmares. You'll encounter deranged clowns lurking in the dark, demons that hunger for new victims, and a butchers slaughter zone where the screams WON'T STOP.
