Monday, October 13

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Babytime: 10am-10:30am. Join us for songs, rhymes, stories and playtime while developing listening and language skills. Caregivers will have time to connect with each other while their babies learn and socialize. Designed for babies ages birth to 18 months with their caregivers, but older siblings are welcome.

    • Rhyme Time Music & Movement: 11:30am-12:30pm. Get your wiggles out with rhymes, songs and musical activities. Move and groove together while strengthening motor, listening and early literacy skills. Designed for children ages 0-5 with their caregivers, but all ages are welcome.

    • Evening Book Club: 6:30-7:30pm. Join a fun, informal discussion of great books. This month, we'll discuss Banned Books. Bring any banned title to share.

  • Roman James Men’s Ribbon Cutting: 4-7pm. Ada, MI. This new addition brings a fresh experience in men’s style and retail to our community. Be among the first to preview their new store, connect with fellow community members, and help us officially welcome Roman James Men to Ada!

Tuesday, October 14

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Toddler Time: 10-10:30am. Enjoy stories, music and rhymes while building early literacy and social skills. Designed for children ages 1-3 with their caregivers, but all ages are welcome.

    • Berry Good Bookmarks: 6:30-7:30pm. Let local Art Prize artist Lain Leo spark your creativity as they share methods and inspiration from nature to imagine and paint your own berry-inspired wooden bookmark. Space is limited so registration is required for this event.

  • Hit the Trail Tuesday Women’s Run Club: 7:15pm. Join their private Facebook group for location information. No registration required.

  • Trail Tuesdays at Third Nature Brewing Company: 5-8pm. Join us for Trail Tuesdays! Every Tuesday stop by between 5 and close and run, walk, bike on the White Pine Trail and receive $2 off your first post workout pint. We’ll raise a glass to that! Be sure to check-in at the host stand. Dogs are welcome in our Biergarten if you would like for your four legged friend to join. Grab the family and friends for some exercise followed by a Biergarten meal and a pint.

  • Autumn Nights at Meijer Gardens: 6-8pm. Join us every Tuesday evening in October for Autumn Nights at Meijer Gardens! Wander the new illuminated Pumpkin Walk in the Gwen Frostic Woodland Shade Garden, where lantern pumpkins and gourds glow among the trees. Play lawn games on the DeVos Van Andel Piazza, take in live music at Michigan’s Farm Garden, and relax with unplugged performances in the Amphitheater. Savor seasonal snacks, hot cider, and drinks while enjoying the vibrant colors of fall and extended evening hours. Members receive free admission!

  • Succulent Pumpkin Workshop: 6pm at Cloth & Cabin. Event by Do Something Co. Join us for a fun fall evening of shopping and creating your own autumnal centerpiece! You’ll be guided through the process using locally grown succulents to adorn a locally grown pumpkin! You’ll leave with a living centerpiece that will last until your holiday celebrations!   • Purr-fectly Spooky Paint Party: 6-7:30pm. Rockford, MI. Get ready for a fun and festive party filled with creativity, giggles, and just a touch of spooky magic with West MI Paint & Create.   • Rockford Farmers Market: The Rockford Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8am-1pm May 3, 2025 through October 25, 2025. The Farmers Market is located in the newest city lot behind the Post Office with an entrance off Main St across the street from Rocky's.

  • EGR Harvest Beer & Spirits Festival: 12-6pm. Join in Downtown Gaslight, where Wealthy Street comes alive from Jose’s to Olives for a day full of fall fun. Enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere with activities for all ages—pumpkin painting, scarecrow building, carnival games, live music, and more. Sip and savor from 10–14 local breweries, two Michigan wineries, and select canned spirits. Grab a bite from local food trucks or visit one of Gaslight Village’s great restaurants.   • Pumpkin Painting with Accidental Art: 1-3pm at Third Nature Brewing Co. Accidental Art will be bringing a variety of small pumpkin figurines for you to choose from. Picking your pumpkins is first come first serve so come early for the best selection! Cost is $12 per pumpkin. Our paint is non-toxic and washes up easily! This project is great for all ages.   • Goat Yoga at Cannonsburg: 5-6pm. Belmont, MI. Halloween edition of Goat Yoga!
