Monday, June 30

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Babytime: 10-10:30am. Delight and engage your baby with songs, a story and playtime. Get to know other families and help your baby develop listening and language skills. For babies from birth to 18 months with a caregiver.

    • Gather 2 Grow! Lunches at the Library: 12-1pm. KDL is proud to partner with Feeding America West Michigan to provide free lunches for students under the age of 18 or up to 26 years of age for people with disabilities. (Easy pick-up, shelf-stable, nutritious meals are pre-packaged with several options available to fit almost any dietary need.)

  • FREE zumba at Rosa Parks Circle: 6:30-7:15pm. Zumba is a fast, fun, and upbeat dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music. Every class feels like a party, so you will burn calories without even realizing it! All levels welcome. Drop-in, no registration required. No equipment required. Please bring a water. Location: 135 Monroe Center St NW, Grand Rapids

  • Moving to the Music at Lena Meijer Children’s Garden: 10:30am-1:30pm. Be part of our musical jam! Play an instrument, clap your hands, tap your toes, lend a voice. Follow along with local musicians as we make music. Inside Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.

  • Summer Camps at Meijer Garden: 9am-12pm. Explore Meijer Gardens like never before!  We’ll visit a new and exciting area of Meijer Gardens each day to engage in fun, kid-friendly activities! Campers will create their own 18″ x 18″ gallery wall and will create and display a new piece of art, inspired by the location they visited, on their gallery wall each day.  Please bring a snack and a water bottle each day. This is a 4-day camp that meets Monday-Thursday. $120 member / $140 non-member. Register here!

Tuesday, July 1

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Toddler Time: 10-10:30am. Nurture your toddler's love of books through music, movement and stories while helping to develop their language, motor and social skills. 

    • Gather 2 Grow! Lunches at the Library: 12-1pm. KDL is proud to partner with Feeding America West Michigan to provide free lunches for students under the age of 18 or up to 26 years of age for people with disabilities. (Easy pick-up, shelf-stable, nutritious meals are pre-packaged with several options available to fit almost any dietary need.)

    • Light Up Your World: 2-3pm. Light is all around us, but what is it? How does it work? Come spark your curiosity and explore the ways light illuminates and shapes the world around us.

  • Rogue River Blues Series: 7-9pm. Join us in Garden Club Park on Tuesday's from 7-9pm for live music near the dam. Grab some food and drinks from your favorite local spots before listening to live music and dancing the night away. Get the full event list HERE.

  • Trail Tuesdays at Third Nature Brewing Company: 5-8pm. Join us for Trail Tuesdays! Every Tuesday stop by between 5 and close and run, walk, bike on the White Pine Trail and receive $2 off your first post workout pint. We’ll raise a glass to that! Be sure to check-in at the host stand. Dogs are welcome in our Biergarten if you would like for your four legged friend to join. Grab the family and friends for some exercise followed by a Biergarten meal and a pint.

  • Taco Tuesday at Cannonsburg: 5-9pm. Taco Tuesday takes place on the back deck every Tuesday. There will be a variety of tacos including pork, beef, chicken and always have a veggie option! The Sweet Spot (also on the back deck) for adult slushies, frozen cocktails, ice cream and other treats! Location: Cannonsburg Ski Area 6800 Cannonsburg Rd NE.

  • Grand Rapids Art Museum Free Tuesdays: 12-5pm. Free admission all day made possible by The Meijer Foundation.

  • Food Truck Tuesdays: 5-8pm at Forrest Hills park. (847 Greenbrier Dr SE, Grand Rapids) Click here for the full 2025 schedule.

  • West Michigan Whitecaps vs. Loons Game: 6:35pm at LMCU Ballpark. Stick around after the game and enjoy a spectacular post-game fireworks show! Purchase tickets online.

Wednesday, July 2

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Storytime: 10-11am. Nurture your child’s love of books and build early literacy skills through stories, rhymes, music and movement. Young Children (ages 0-5).

    • Creature Power: 2-3pm. Calling all animal adventurers! Explore the amazing world of creatures big and small as we dive into fun animal activities. Every wild adventure will get you moving, thinking and acting like your favorite Wild Kratts. Come activate your Creature Power. For school-age children (ages 5-10).

  • Deck Nights at Cannonsburg: 5-8pm. Join us on the for grilled food and drinks! There is plenty of space on the deck and out in the lawn, so bring your whole crew and enjoy summer to the fullest. Location: 6800 Cannonsburg Rd NE, Belmont, MI

  • Outdoor Artist Studio: 10:30am-1:30pm. in the Lena Meijer Children’s Garden. Grand Rapids, MI. Explore outdoors with an artist's eye! Join local artists in our vibrant atmosphere for engaging, informal art experiences. Get creative with everyday materials such as paper, crayons, and clay.

Thursday, July 3

  • FREE Hip Hop Yoga at Pleasant Park: 7-7:45pm. Hip Hop Yoga is where mindful movement meets high-energy vibes! This class blends the fluidity of yoga with the rhythm and intensity of hip-hop music, creating an experience that is both grounding and empowering. Flow through dynamic sequences, deep stretches, and powerful poses set to a curated playlist of hip-hop beats that will keep you moving and motivated. Whether you want to improve flexibility, build strength, or vibe out while you flow, Hip Hop Yoga brings a fresh, fun twist to your practice. All levels are welcome.   • Grand Rapids Art Museum Free Thursdays: 5-9pm. Free admission made possible by The Meijer Foundation.

  • Relax at Rosa Park Circle: 12-1:30pm. Downtown Grand Rapids. This free lunchtime concert series feat. a variety of local bands, food trucks, and performers every Thursday from May 1 to September 11.

  • Free Wine Tasting: 4-8pm at Art of the Table. Grand Rapids, MI. Whether you are are needing some quick inspiration for a bottle to take home for the weekend or if you are looking to learn a little more about the ever evolving world of wine.

Friday, July 4

  • Food Truck Fridays at Riverside Park: 5-9pm. Join us each week as we have around 20 food trucks, merchant vendors and live music each and every week.

  • Friday’s At the Farm at Meijer Gardens: 10:30am-1:30pm. Have bushels of family fun this summer! Children of all ages will enjoy farm-time fun working together on "chore challenges" and joining in on special farm-inspired stories, games, music, and more. We hope to see you all down on the farm!

  • 4th of July Water Ski Show on Reeds Lake: 1:30-2:30pm. John Collins Park, East Grand Rapids. Come celebrate America’s birthday with us as the Grand City Show Skiers perform at the City of East Grand Rapids Fourth of July celebration! The ski show begins after the parade.

  • Reeds Lake Trail Blazer 5K: 8:30am. Join Friday, July 4, 2025 for a 5K along beautiful Reeds Lake in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. Registration required. Sign up online!

  • Ada Classic Car Show: 11am-2pm. Car lineup along River St. Enter River St. via Fulton St. Price $10.00 Proceeds benefit Flat River Outreach Ministries.

  • Grand Rapids Foodie Fest: 3-10pm. Calder Plaza, Downtown Grand Rapids. The 4th Annual Grand Rapids Foodie Fest is a three-day event celebrating a diverse community of food vendors, retail merchants, and live entertainment throughout the weekend. Free family event!

  • Ada 4th of July Celebration: 9:45am. Celebration starts with the parade followed by the car show. Music at Legacy Park and fireworks at Dusk.

  • East Grand Rapids 4th of July Celebration: 12:00pm. East Grand Rapids, MI. The City invites the community to celebrate America’s birthday. A special thanks to title sponsor Corewell Health for making this celebration possible. Fireworks show over Reeds Lake at Dusk. The 2025 celebration will feature the parade, activities at John Collins Park and a fireworks show over Reeds Lake. Get the schedule of events here!

  • Sparta 4th of July Fireworks: 7-11pm. Sparta, MI. (11510 N Division Ave)

Saturday, July 5

  • Rockford Farmers Market: The Rockford Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8am-1pm May 3, 2025 through October 25, 2025. The Farmers Market is located in the newest city lot behind the Post Office with an entrance off Main St across the street from Rocky's.

  • Saturday Farmer’s Market @ Fulton Street Market: 10am-1pm. 1145 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI. Second Season starts on November 2nd and goes through April 26th. We are open on Saturdays from 10 AM - 1 PM.

  • Yoga by the Dam with Aptitude: 8:30-9:30am. Start your Saturday off right with FREE community yoga by the beautiful Rogue River, presented by Aptitude Fitness + Yoga! Join us for a rejuvenating morning of yoga, meditation, and pranayama (breathwork) overlooking the scenic views of the river.   • Firework Pre-Party at the JW Marriott: 6-10pm. Downtown Grand Rapids. Join us at the Campau Avenue Entrance and lower lobby for Sips & Sparks — a free, open-to-all pre-party designed for guests of every age. No tickets, no RSVP — just drop in, cool off, and enjoy a few sweet moments before heading outside for the Grand Rapids fireworks show at 10:30 pm.

  • Red, White, Blue, and You: A Salute to Independence Day: 10am-12pm. Meijer Garden, Grand Rapids. Help us celebrate America's birthday, the Children's Garden way! March and move to inspiring live music and listen to classic Fourth of July storybooks. From an All-American Flag Hunt to a Hula Hoop Hoopla on the lawn, there's birthday fun to be had by everyone!

Sunday, July 6
