Monday, June 23

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Babytime: 10-10:30am. Delight and engage your baby with songs, a story and playtime. Get to know other families and help your baby develop listening and language skills. For babies from birth to 18 months with a caregiver.

    • Gather 2 Grow! Lunches at the Library: 12-1pm. KDL is proud to partner with Feeding America West Michigan to provide free lunches for students under the age of 18 or up to 26 years of age for people with disabilities. (Easy pick-up, shelf-stable, nutritious meals are pre-packaged with several options available to fit almost any dietary need.)

  • FREE zumba at Rosa Parks Circle: 6:30-7:15pm. Zumba is a fast, fun, and upbeat dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music. Every class feels like a party, so you will burn calories without even realizing it! All levels welcome. Drop-in, no registration required. No equipment required. Please bring a water. Location: 135 Monroe Center St NW, Grand Rapids

  • Moving to the Music at Lena Meijer Children’s Garden: 10:30am-1:30pm. Be part of our musical jam! Play an instrument, clap your hands, tap your toes, lend a voice. Follow along with local musicians as we make music. Inside Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.

  • Summer Camps at Meijer Garden: 9am-12pm. Explore Meijer Gardens like never before!  We’ll visit a new and exciting area of Meijer Gardens each day to engage in fun, kid-friendly activities! Campers will create their own 18″ x 18″ gallery wall and will create and display a new piece of art, inspired by the location they visited, on their gallery wall each day.  Please bring a snack and a water bottle each day. This is a 4-day camp that meets Monday-Thursday. $120 member / $140 non-member. Register here!

Tuesday, June 24

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Toddler Time: 10-10:30am. Nurture your toddler's love of books through music, movement and stories while helping to develop their language, motor and social skills. 

    • Gather 2 Grow! Lunches at the Library: 12-1pm.     • Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary's LIVE Reptile Show: 2-3pm. Critchlow Alligator Sanctuary will be presenting live reptiles to entertain and educate the audience. This program is designed for patrons ages 5 to 10.

  • Rogue River Blues Series: 7-9pm. Join us in Garden Club Park on Tuesday's from 7-9pm for live music near the dam. Grab some food and drinks from your favorite local spots before listening to live music and dancing the night away. Get the full event list HERE.

  • Trail Tuesdays at Third Nature Brewing Company: 5-8pm. Join us for Trail Tuesdays! Every Tuesday stop by between 5 and close and run, walk, bike on the White Pine Trail and receive $2 off your first post workout pint. We’ll raise a glass to that! Be sure to check-in at the host stand. Dogs are welcome in our Biergarten if you would like for your four legged friend to join. Grab the family and friends for some exercise followed by a Biergarten meal and a pint.

  • Taco Tuesday at Cannonsburg: 5-9pm. Taco Tuesday takes place on the back deck every Tuesday. There will be a variety of tacos including pork, beef, chicken and always have a veggie option! The Sweet Spot (also on the back deck) for adult slushies, frozen cocktails, ice cream and other treats! Location: Cannonsburg Ski Area 6800 Cannonsburg Rd NE.

  • Grand Rapids Art Museum Free Tuesdays: 12-5pm. Free admission all day made possible by The Meijer Foundation.

Wednesday, June 25

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Mermaid Molly: 2-3pm. Hear a story, dance and sing with Mermaid Molly. For families with children.

  • Cardio Strength at Aptitude: 8:30-9am. Join them all summer long for fun, affordable, and energizing community fitness + yoga classes! Whether you’re looking to build strength, find calm, or just get moving with a welcoming group, they’ve got a class for you. Buy a $5 drop-in credit on our app and redeem it for any of the three community classes all summer long! All fitness levels are welcome — bring a mat, bring a friend, and join the fun.

    Line Dancing Lessons at St. Julian Winery: 6:30-7:30pm. Join us in the Rockford tasting room parking lot every Wednesday this June for a lively line dancing experience! Led by expert instructor Ms. Tammy, she'll have you two-stepping and having a blast in no time—no prior dance experience needed. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just looking to try something new, Ms. Tammy will guide you through the basic steps and get everyone moving.   • Deck Nights at Cannonsburg: 5-8pm. Join us on the for grilled food and drinks! There is plenty of space on the deck and out in the lawn, so bring your whole crew and enjoy summer to the fullest. Location: 6800 Cannonsburg Rd NE, Belmont, MI

  • Music on the Lawn with Yacht Rocket Summer Concert Series: 7-9pm. Set sail for Week 3 of the 2025 Music on the Lawn Summer Concert Series at Legacy Park! This week, we’re cruisin’ into the smooth sounds of Yacht Rocket, delivering all the soft rock hits and breezy vibes you didn’t know you needed. Whether you're channeling your inner captain or just here for the tunes, bring your blankets, grab a lawn chair, and enjoy a laid-back night with great music and even better company.   • Mom’s of Grand Rapids Support Circle: 6:30pm at John A Collins Park. Motherhood is beautiful—but it can also be exhausting, overwhelming, and hard. Join them for a monthly support circle created just for moms. This is a safe, non-judgmental space to share, listen, and connect with others who truly understand what you're going through. Whether you're a brand-new mom, a seasoned parent, or anywhere in between, you are welcome here. Come as you are—tired, joyful, anxious, hopeful.

  • Kent District Library - East Grand Rapids Branch

    • Storytime in the Park: 10:30-11:30am. Nurture your child’s love of books and build early literacy skills through stories, rhymes, music and movement. Weather permitting, storytime will be held outside at John Collins Park, next door to the library.

  • FREE Hip Hop Yoga at Pleasant Park: 7-7:45pm. Hip Hop Yoga is where mindful movement meets high-energy vibes! This class blends the fluidity of yoga with the rhythm and intensity of hip-hop music, creating an experience that is both grounding and empowering. Flow through dynamic sequences, deep stretches, and powerful poses set to a curated playlist of hip-hop beats that will keep you moving and motivated. Whether you want to improve flexibility, build strength, or vibe out while you flow, Hip Hop Yoga brings a fresh, fun twist to your practice. All levels are welcome.   • Grand Rapids Art Museum Free Thursdays: 5-9pm. Free admission made possible by The Meijer Foundation.

  • Kids’ Night at Blyfield Acres Pool: 7-9pm. Join us for Kids’ Night! Kids ages 7+ (non-members welcome too) can swim and hang at the pool with a lifeguard on duty, snacks provided, and a board member present. Parents can drop off, or join if you like. $8 cash or card at the door.

  • Relax at Rosa Park Circle: 12-1:30pm. Relax at Rosa is back! This free lunchtime concert series feat. a variety of local bands and performers every Thursday from May 1 to September 11. Plus, enjoy a variety of food trucks each week!

  • Live Music at The Score: 6-10pm. Moonshot Band invites you to join them at The Score and enjoy your favorite meal and beverage with your toes in beach sand, viewing real palm trees accented by a waterside view all while seen through flickering tiki torches.

Friday, June 27

  • Food Truck Fridays at Riverside Park: 5-9pm. Join us each week as we have around 20 food trucks, merchant vendors and live music each and every week.

  • Founders Beer Garden Bash: 3pm. Join the for three days of beer garden hangs! You can expect new beverages, music, food specials, giveaways and more!   • Friday’s At the Farm at Meijer Gardens: 10:30am-1:30pm. Have bushels of family fun this summer! Children of all ages will enjoy farm-time fun working together on "chore challenges" and joining in on special farm-inspired stories, games, music, and more. We hope to see you all down on the farm!

Saturday, June 28

  • Rockford Farmers Market: The Rockford Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8am-1pm May 3, 2025 through October 25, 2025. The Farmers Market is located in the newest city lot behind the Post Office with an entrance off Main St across the street from Rocky's.

  • Saturday Farmer’s Market @ Fulton Street Market: 10am-1pm. 1145 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI. Second Season starts on November 2nd and goes through April 26th. We are open on Saturdays from 10 AM - 1 PM.

  • Yoga by the Dam with Aptitude: 8:30-9:30am. Start your Saturday off right with FREE community yoga by the beautiful Rogue River, presented by Aptitude Fitness + Yoga! Join us for a rejuvenating morning of yoga, meditation, and pranayama (breathwork) overlooking the scenic views of the river. This all-levels, beginner-friendly class welcomes everyone, so bring your family and friends along for some yoga fun! Don't forget to grab your yoga mat, towel, or blanket to set up on the grass, and be sure to pack your sunglasses and sunscreen for a comfortable outdoor experience.   • BBQ Backyard Cooking Party at Thought Design: 2-5pm. Get ready for a cooking class that feels more like a backyard BBQ than a typical culinary event. In this laid-back cookout, we’re opening our doors, firing up the flavor, and filling the kitchen with the smells of smoky, slow-cooked goodness. From brisket to pulled pork, this experience brings the fun of a summer gathering—no fancy dress code required. Get tickets here!

  • Grand Rapids Taco, Tequila and Margarita Fest: 4-8pm. Grand Rapids Taco, Tequila and Margarita Fest is an outdoor tequila festival located at the northern end of Riverside Park (2001 Monroe Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505) by the Baseball Diamonds. This park features free parking, shade under the trees and picnic tables for seating. This festival features 10+ Food Vendors, 165+ different tequilas, margaritas, beers & ciders. The festival also features live music, vendors and food trucks.This event is all ages. Kids under 10 years old do not need their own admission. Tickets are available to purchase online or at the entrance to the festival (if not sold out).

  • 46th Reeds Lake Run: 8am. Join us for the 46th Reeds Lake Run. 5K/10K/Combo/Triple Crown/Doggie Dash and Family Fun Run Mile. Sign up online!

  • Nonla’s DJ Brunch: 11am-2pm. Brunch is better with music, so Nonla is bringing the energy with sets, great food, and chill vibes at their Grand Rapids location.

Sunday, June 29

  • Vintage and Handmade Marketplace: 10am-5pm. Downtown Market. Grand Rapids, MI. Shop the region’s best vintage and handmade vendors and enjoy delicious food and drinks from some of the Market Hall local vendors. Vinyl sounds will be live from WIDR FM’s DJ Dan Steely, to create a local shopping atmosphere like no other, for Vintage in the Zoo's ninth season.
