Monday, July 7
Krause Memorial Library Events:
Babytime: 10-10:30am. Delight and engage your baby with songs, a story and playtime. Get to know other families and help your baby develop listening and language skills. For babies from birth to 18 months with a caregiver.
Gather 2 Grow! Lunches at the Library: 12-1pm. KDL is proud to partner with Feeding America West Michigan to provide free lunches for students under the age of 18 or up to 26 years of age for people with disabilities. (Easy pick-up, shelf-stable, nutritious meals are pre-packaged with several options available to fit almost any dietary need.)
Ruff Reader: 6:30-7:30pm. This unique read-aloud program in partnership with West Michigan Therapy Dogs, Inc. pairs kids with a trained therapy dog and their handler. Kids read their favorite book and the pooches curl up, listen and enjoy. For school age children (ages 5-10). Arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and secure a time slot. First come, first served.
FREE zumba at Rosa Parks Circle: 6:30-7:15pm. Zumba is a fast, fun, and upbeat dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music. Every class feels like a party, so you will burn calories without even realizing it! All levels welcome. Drop-in, no registration required. No equipment required. Please bring a water. Moving to the Music at Lena Meijer Children’s Garden: 10:30am-1:30pm. Be part of our musical jam! Play an instrument, clap your hands, tap your toes, lend a voice. Follow along with local musicians as we make music. Inside Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.
Summer Camps at Meijer Garden: 9am-12pm. Explore Meijer Gardens like never before! We’ll visit a new and exciting area of Meijer Gardens each day to engage in fun, kid-friendly activities! Campers will create their own 18″ x 18″ gallery wall and will create and display a new piece of art, inspired by the location they visited, on their gallery wall each day. Please bring a snack and a water bottle each day. This is a 4-day camp that meets Monday-Thursday. $120 member / $140 non-member. Register here!

Toddler Time: 10-10:30am. Nurture your toddler's love of books through music, movement and stories while helping to develop their language, motor and social skills.

Teen Intro to Macrame: 2-3pm. Master two essential knots and create your own small wall hanging. Learn the basic techniques in a hands-on session and leave with a unique piece of art that reflects your newfound knot-tying skills. For teens (ages 11-17)
Rogue River Blues Series: 7-9pm. Join us in Garden Club Park on Tuesday's from 7-9pm for live music near the dam. Grab some food and drinks from your favorite local spots before listening to live music and dancing the night away. Get the full event list HERE.
Hit the Trail Tuesday Women’s Run Club: 7:15pm at Pickett Park in Rockford, MI. No registration required.
Trail Tuesdays at Third Nature Brewing Company: 5-8pm. Join us for Trail Tuesdays! Every Tuesday stop by between 5 and close and run, walk, bike on the White Pine Trail and receive $2 off your first post workout pint. We’ll raise a glass to that! Be sure to check-in at the host stand. Dogs are welcome in our Biergarten if you would like for your four legged friend to join. Grab the family and friends for some exercise followed by a Biergarten meal and a pint.
Taco Tuesday at Cannonsburg: 5-9pm. Taco Tuesday takes place on the back deck every Tuesday. There will be a variety of tacos including pork, beef, chicken and always have a veggie option! The Sweet Spot (also on the back deck) for adult slushies, frozen cocktails, ice cream and other treats! Location: Cannonsburg Ski Area 6800 Cannonsburg Rd NE.
Grand Rapids Art Museum Free Tuesdays: 12-5pm. Free admission all day made possible by The Meijer Foundation.

Dr. Dolittle: 2-3pm. Have fun hanging out with Dottie, Dr. Dolittle's bumbling new assistant, as she shares stories with magical, talking animals. This interactive show inspired by classic literature combines puppets with music and comedy to create a fun time for all. For families with children.
Rock the Uke: 5:30-7:30pm. Play ukulele at the library! Beginners and newcomers welcome. Learn with ukulele enthusiasts followed by a group strum along.
Deck Nights at Cannonsburg: 5-8pm. Join us on the for grilled food and drinks! There is plenty of space on the deck and out in the lawn, so bring your whole crew and enjoy summer to the fullest. Location: 6800 Cannonsburg Rd NE, Belmont, MI
Music on the Lawn Summer Concert Series: 7pm. Ada, MI. It’s week 4 of the 2025 Music on the Lawn Summer Concert Series at Legacy Park in Ada, MI. ROGA Training for Mitchell’s Run: 6-7pm. Get ready for Mitchell’s Run Thru Rockford with their ROGA (Run + Yoga) summer training series! Each session combines a short group run/walk with a yoga flow designed to build strength, improve mobility, and support recovery — perfect for runners and non-runners alike. Register online.

Friday’s At the Farm at Meijer Gardens: 10:30am-1:30pm. Have bushels of family fun this summer! Children of all ages will enjoy farm-time fun working together on "chore challenges" and joining in on special farm-inspired stories, games, music, and more. We hope to see you all down on the farm!

Scout Night Campout at the Whitecaps: 5:15pm. Join the Whitecaps on Friday, July 11th for the annual Scout Campout presented by Farm Bureau Insurance! Scouts will be invited to a pre-game parade lap along with a post-game movie and campout on the field. Gates open at 5:15 PM with the first pitch at 6:35 PM. Purchase tickets online.

Rockford Farmers Market: The Rockford Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8am-1pm May 3, 2025 through October 25, 2025. The Farmers Market is located in the newest city lot behind the Post Office with an entrance off Main St across the street from Rocky's.
Saturday Farmer’s Market @ Fulton Street Market: 10am-1pm. 1145 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI. Second Season starts on November 2nd and goes through April 26th. We are open on Saturdays from 10 AM - 1 PM.
