Monday, September 15

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Babytime: 10am-10:30am. Join us for songs, rhymes, stories and playtime while developing listening and language skills. Caregivers will have time to connect with each other while their babies learn and socialize. Designed for babies ages birth to 18 months with their caregivers, but older siblings are welcome.

    • Rhyme Time Music & Movement: 11:30am-12:30pm. Get your wiggles out with rhymes, songs and musical activities. Move and groove together while strengthening motor, listening and early literacy skills. Designed for children ages 0-5 with their caregivers, but all ages are welcome.

Tuesday, September 16

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Toddler Time: 10-10:30am. Enjoy stories, music and rhymes while building early literacy and social skills. Designed for children ages 1-3 with their caregivers, but all ages are welcome.

  • Hit the Trail Tuesday Women’s Run Club: 7:15pm. Join their private Facebook group for location information. No registration required.

  • Trail Tuesdays at Third Nature Brewing Company: 5-8pm. Join us for Trail Tuesdays! Every Tuesday stop by between 5 and close and run, walk, bike on the White Pine Trail and receive $2 off your first post workout pint. We’ll raise a glass to that! Be sure to check-in at the host stand. Dogs are welcome in our Biergarten if you would like for your four legged friend to join. Grab the family and friends for some exercise followed by a Biergarten meal and a pint.

Wednesday, September 17

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Saving Money with Home Energy Rebates: 6:30-7:30pm. Join Brett Little from the Green Home Institute for a home energy session to learn how to boost comfort, improve health, reduce utility bills and access financial incentives. 

  • The Role of Nutrition in Childhood Neuroimmune Performance: 6-8pm at Boochie Kombucha and Wellness Bar. Downtown Rockford, MI. Join us for an engaging and informative health talk exploring how nutrition shapes the developing brain and immune system in children with Dr. Blake Miller and Registered Dietitian, Ellen Smartt from Flora Wellness Practitioners. This presentation will highlight the powerful connection between diet, gut health, and cognitive function, as well as how nutrient deficiencies or imbalances can impact mood, focus, learning, and overall resilience.   • Yoga at the Market: 10-11am at Fulton Street Market. Fulton Street Market Plaza, 1145 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI. Led by the instructors of Grand Rapids Yoga Company!

Thursday, September 18

  • Art Prize Begins! 12pm-8pm. Downtown Grand Rapids. Experience the magic of ArtPrize in Grand Rapids, Michigan this fall! From September 18 – October 4, watch in wonder as the city itself transforms into a canvas filled with the works of artists from around the world. Wander through streets, parks, galleries, and restaurants to discover awe-inspiring sculptures, paintings, installations, and more. With $600,000 in grants and awards for artists, ArtPrize continues its mission to support artists by providing a platform to showcase their work on an international stage.

  • Haunted Museum Adventure After Dark: 7-10pm at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. Downtown, GR. This smash hit Museum event is back to kick off spooky season! Delight in discovery while supporting the Grand Rapids Public Museum at this hauntingly fun and interactive fundraiser. Purchase tickets online.

  • East Grand Rapids Farmers Market: 8:30am-1pm. In the NORTH PARKING LOT of the East Grand Rapids Community Center on Thursdays this July & August each week from 8:30am-1:00pm for the 2025 Farmers Market season!

  • Wine Down Pasture Walk: 6-8pm at Revel Pastures. A special adult evening out! Grab your favorite bottle of wine (or other beverage) and join us for a walk and talk around the farm. Tour is approximately 2 hrs long. We will show what progress looks like on a regenerative farm and how that impacts the nutrition in the food you eat. These tours are located at our new pastures at 12750 Stout Ave, Cedar Springs, MI. (see map in pictures)

    Wear your closed toe walking shoes! We will be in the outdoors on a working farm - there will be tall grass, uneven ground, bugs and dirt. $10 per person. Tickets available at rebelpastures.com. 18+ Only Please!

  • The Office Trivia Night: 7:30pm at Rockford Brewing Company. Downtown Rockford. Think you know everything about Michael Scott, Jim & Pam, Schrute Farms, and the Scranton branch? Prove it at our Office-themed trivia night!

  • John Pardi: 7pm at Van Andel Arena. Downtown Grand Rapids. Jon Pardi brings his Honkytonk Hollywood Tour to Van Andel Arena with special guests Jake Worthington & Colby Acuff. Purchase tickets online.

  • A Night at the Market: 7-9pm. Join us for a magical evening as the beloved Fulton Street Market transforms into a whimsical night of celebration, connection, and community impact. Location: 1145 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI.

Friday, September 19

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Afternoon Book Club: 1:30-2:30pm. Join a fun, informal discussion of great books. This month, we'll discuss Thistlefoot by GennaRose Nethercott.

  • ArtPrize Fireworks Patio Party: 7-11pm on The Patio at Puck for the best seat in the city of the ArtPrize Parade. DJ Todd Ernst will set the tone with an upbeat set, while the energy builds toward a festive night of live music, dancers, circus acts, and dazzling fireworks over the water. Get tickets online.

  • Touch a Tractor: 1-6pm at Ed Dunneback & Girls Farm. Wagon rides, photo ops, and Touch-a-Tractor (featuring new and old tractors on display)

Saturday, September 20

  • Rockford Farmers Market: The Rockford Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8am-1pm May 3, 2025 through October 25, 2025. The Farmers Market is located in the newest city lot behind the Post Office with an entrance off Main St across the street from Rocky's.

  • Fulton Street Farmers Market: 10am-1pm. 1145 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI. Second Season starts on November 2nd and goes through April 26th.

  • Fallasburg Arts Festival: 10am-5pm. Lowell, MI. The event features 100 unique fine arts and fine crafts booths, food booths, children's craft area, craft demonstrations, and music performed on an outdoor stage.

  • Gather-d is Turning Five: 10am-5pm. Rockford, MI. There will be a vendor market by gather-d, huge giveaways, finch + fennel tastings and so much more! Stay tuned for more details to come.

  • Merchants and Makers at ArtPrize: 10am at Rosa Parks Circle. Downtown Grand Rapids. This is a FREE Community Event. Get out and enjoy ArtPrize!

  • Steam Day: 9am-6pm at John Ball Zoo. Experience the exciting fields of science, technology, engineering, art and math as local schools and organizations bring exhilarating experiences that are fun for the whole family. Look for robots, discover a love of instruments, design your own exhibit, and even become a penguineer!

  • 2025 Backyard Bash: 4-10pm at Perrin Brewing Company. Comstock Park, MI. Food, live music, craft vendors, yard games, tattoos, and of course, beer!

  • Michigan’s Donut & Beer Festival: 3-8pm at LMCU Ballpark. Comstock Park, MI. Michigan's Donut & Beer Festival will feature over 25+ unique and local vendors serving over 100 mouthwatering donuts, complemented by 150+ beer, cider, and seltzer selections. Entertainment for all ages includes a live music performance, a donut eating competition and a pre-event Plaza Party.

Sunday, September 21

  • Detroit Red Wings Red & White Game: 3pm at Van Andel Arena. Downtown Grand Rapids. The stars of Hockeytown will play their intrasquad game in Grand Rapids for the first time since 2011, as the likes of Lucas Raymond, Patrick Kane and Alex DeBrincat take the ice alongside former Griffins such as Moritz Seider, Dylan Larkin, Simon Edvinsson and Marco Kasper.
