Krause Memorial Library Events:
Babytime: 10am-10:30am. Join us for songs, rhymes, stories and playtime while developing listening and language skills. Caregivers will have time to connect with each other while their babies learn and socialize. Designed for babies ages birth to 18 months with their caregivers, but older siblings are welcome.
Rhyme Time Music & Movement: 11:30am-12:30pm. Get your wiggles out with rhymes, songs and musical activities. Move and groove together while strengthening motor, listening and early literacy skills. Designed for children ages 0-5 with their caregivers, but all ages are welcome.
Fall Garlands and Leaves: 6:30-7:30pm. Bring a decorative touch into your home using paper and felt to create garlands and leaves to add some autumnal beauty to your space.
Tuesday, September 23
Krause Memorial Library Events:
Toddler Time: 10-10:30am. Enjoy stories, music and rhymes while building early literacy and social skills. Designed for children ages 1-3 with their caregivers, but all ages are welcome.
Blood and Lipstick: 6:30pm. For adults 18+. Meet the women who covered the pages of Michigan history with blood spatter, including the infamous Michigan Borgia, who used strychnine to lop off an entire branch of her family tree; three sirens who lured a rich lawyer to his death; and an heiress whose obsession with a mechanic turned deadly. Angry wives, jilted lovers and sociopathic serial killers all gather in this presentation from true crime author Tobin T. Buhk.
Hit the Trail Tuesday Women’s Run Club: 7:15pm. Join their private Facebook group for location information. No registration required.
Trail Tuesdays at Third Nature Brewing Company: 5-8pm. Join us for Trail Tuesdays! Every Tuesday stop by between 5 and close and run, walk, bike on the White Pine Trail and receive $2 off your first post workout pint. We’ll raise a glass to that! Be sure to check-in at the host stand. Dogs are welcome in our Biergarten if you would like for your four legged friend to join. Grab the family and friends for some exercise followed by a Biergarten meal and a pint.
Clay Earring Workshop: 6-8pm at Spruced Studio. Join Kenzie, owner of One:Twelve Weddings, at Spruced Studio as she wows you with her gorgeous, handmade polymer clay earring selections! Get creative by designing and creating your own clay earrings. There will be an earring bar of pre-made polymer clay earring pieces in various designs, colors, shapes and styles to pick from! Glow Nights in the Corn Maze: 7-10pm at Deep Roots Produce. Alto, MI. Every Friday and Saturday night from September 12th-October 25th, we'll have GLOW NIGHT in the maze! Grab your friends and family & make your way through our maze in the dark! Tickets come with 5 glow sticks, but you're welcome to bring your own. Each checkpoint throughout the maze will have a light to help your group navigate. Tickets come with a paper map, and you may utilize our GPS app on your phone as well (scan at entrance.)
