Monday, May 26

  • FREE zumba at Rosa Parks Circle: 6:30-7:15pm. Zumba is a fast, fun, and upbeat dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music.   • FREE SoulfulMOTION at MacKay Jaycees Park: 6:30-7:15pm. SoulfulMOTION is an exciting class of fitness and inspiration. This is a high intensity interval training (HIIT) class set to Christian and inspirational music. Designed for anyone regardless of age or fitness level. Drop-in, no registration required!   • FREE Line Dancing at Richmond Park: 7-7:45pm. Enjoy line dancing while exercising mind, body, and spirit. In QK Line Dance we dance to all genres of music and everyone is welcome! Class will meet in the pool deck area. Drop-in, no registration required! No equipment required. Please bring a water.

Tuesday, May 27

  • FREE Glute Aerobics Class at 555 Monroe: 6:30-7:15pm. Ready to sculpt your glutes and tone your lower body? Glute Aerobics is a fun bodyweight rhythmic class! This class will leave you feeling strong, accomplished, and sweaty by incorporating lower body exercises, dance fitness, high reps, and cardio blasts. Drop-in, no registration required! Suggested Equipment: Mat, Towel, Water

  • Taco Tuesday at Cannonsburg: 5-9pm. Taco Tuesday takes place on the back deck every Tuesday. There will be a variety of tacos including pork, beef, chicken and always have a veggie option! The Sweet Spot (also on the back deck) for adult slushies, frozen cocktails, ice cream and other treats! Location: Cannonsburg Ski Area 6800 Cannonsburg Rd NE.

  • Toddler Time at the Grand Rapids Children’s Museum: 9am-11am. Special programming designed specifically for the littler hands (ages 3 and under). Make music, enjoy sensory play, create art and more! Location: 11 Sheldon Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI.

  • Alma's Way: Welcome to My Neighborhood Exhibit Grand Opening: 9-4pm at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum. This exhibit is based on the PBS KIDS show, Alma’s Way, which features the adventures of 6-year-old Alma as she learns to think for herself, solve problems and find solutions! Join us for a ribbon cutting at 9am, special programs, and a meet & greet with Alma!

  • Grand Rapids Art Museum Free Tuesdays: 12-5pm. Free admission all day made possible by The Meijer Foundation.

Wednesday, May 28

  • FREE Yoga at Riverside Park: 12-12:45pm. Discover your inner yogi in a class that builds strength and body awareness. Class will begin with gentle movement and breathing, progressing to standing sequences and finally ending with calm resting poses. Drop-in, no registration required!   • Yoga at the Downtown Market: 10-11am. Start your midweek market trip with a rejuvenating, community‑focused yoga flow led by the instructors of Grand Rapids Yoga Company! After class, stay and shop the Wednesday Farmers Market from 8am - 2pm.

Thursday, May 28

  • FREE Hip Hop Yoga at Pleasant Park: 7-7:45pm. Hip Hop Yoga is where mindful movement meets high-energy vibes! This class blends the fluidity of yoga with the rhythm and intensity of hip-hop music, creating an experience that is both grounding and empowering. Flow through dynamic sequences, deep stretches, and powerful poses set to a curated playlist of hip-hop beats that will keep you moving and motivated. Whether you want to improve flexibility, build strength, or vibe out while you flow, Hip Hop Yoga brings a fresh, fun twist to your practice. All levels are welcome. Friday, May 30

  • Silverado at the Rockford Bike Shop: 4-6pm. Join the Rockford Bike Shop for the official deck opening party at their beautiful new facility. There’s PLENTY of room to dance and there’ll probably be adult libations to enjoy! We’ll be merging Mackenzie’s two favorite worlds…class country music and bicycles! Location: 7740 Childsdale Ave NE, Rockford

  • Food Truck Fridays at Riverside Park: 5-9pm. Join us each week as we have around 20 food trucks, merchant vendors and live music each and every week.

  • Member Opening Of David Hockney: Perspective Should Be Reversed: 7-9pm. Grand Rapids Art Museum Members and their guests are invited to join us for an exclusive preview of David Hockney: Perspective Should Be Reversed, Prints from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation. Enjoy early access to the exhibition, plus small bites, live music, and takeaway treats from GRAM Affinity Partners, Chartreuse Sisters and Mokaya. Registration is required. Free for members.

Saturday, May 31

  • Saturday Farmer’s Market @ Fulton Street Market: 10am-1pm. 1145 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI. Second Season starts on November 2nd and goes through April 26th. We are open on Saturdays from 10 AM - 1 PM.

  • Rockford Farmers Market: The Rockford Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8am-1pm May 3, 2025 through October 25, 2025. The Farmers Market is located in the newest city lot behind the Post Office with an entrance off Main St across the street from Rocky's.

  • Run for Hope with Rogue River CrossFit: 10:30am. Meet at the gym (530 Wolverine St, Rockford, MI) and be ready to take off at 10:30am. This is a 2.6 run/walk along the White Pine Trail that ends at Third Nature Brewing. There are always plenty of walkers, dogs, strollers, scooters, etc... very family friendly! There are no awards or timers, very casual! With your registration you will get an event shirt and your beverage of choice when you arrive at Third Nature.   • Moms of Grand Rapids Park Play Date: 10am. Want to meet some new mom friends but don’t know where to start? Come join us for a play date to meet some of the members and families that are part of Moms of Grand Rapids! They will be providing coffee and donuts, so bring the family for a fun morning at the park. Location: Grand Rapids Township Park

  • Mitten Vintage Flea Market: 12-6pm. Shop with over 80+ vendors at Michigan’s premier vintage market from 12-6PM. There will also be food trucks available! Location: Calder Plaza

  • Merchants & Makers at John Ball Zoo: 9am-4pm. Shop with 100+ local makers showcasing their unique creations, enjoy live music throughout the day. Treat yourself to delicious food from a variety of food trucks! This is a FREE community event! Location: 1300 W. Fulton St. Grand Rapids

  • Coffee Tasting 101 Workshop at Ferris Coffee & Nut Co.: 11am-12:30pm. Calling all coffee lovers! Whether you're a casual sipper or a full-fledged coffee nerd, this hands-on tasting workshop will take your appreciation to the next level. You'll compare light vs. dark roasts, taste your way through single-origin coffees from across the globe, and sharpen your palate to detect those hidden tasting notes you never knew existed. They’ll also take a deep dive into the journey from seed to cup, unravel the mysteries of the Specialty Coffee Association's flavor wheel, and give you pro tips on how to choose the perfect coffee for your taste.   • Michigan Wildlife Day at John Ball Zoo: 9am-6pm. Tag along with Tiana, Snow White, Cinderella and her Fairy Godmother, as we explore Michigan’s native animals. Learn wild facts, catch live entertainment, and be captivated with animal activities. $2 Discount if you wear Michigan Themed Merch to fit the theme. When you arrive, grab your Wildlife Explorer Passport and discover your wild side. With your passport in hand, make your way to our Exploration Stations where you can learn more about animals, engage with interactive activities, and collect badges for your passport. Each badge collected is an opportunity to enter to win prizes! Attend all our Wildlife Exploration Days to complete your passport. 

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Friends of the Library Used Book Sale: 9:30am-3pm. There will be bargains galore at the Friends of the Library's used book sale. 

    • Reading Rocks in Rockford: 9:45am-1pm. Join us for the 16th annual Reading Rocks in Rockford Festival! Celebrate Rockin' Reader Awards for local students. Meet the author of the Pout Pout Fish series and many other great reads, Deborah Diesen. Visit with local authors and purchase copies of their books. Games, crafts and activities offered by the library, Rockford Public Schools, Rockford Chamber of Commerce and Rotary International.

Sunday, June 1

  • Restorative Yoga at Aptitude: 6-7pm. Join us all summer long for fun, affordable, and energizing community fitness + yoga classes!   • Live Music with Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra: 11am-2pm at New Holland Brewing Pub. Sunday Jazz Brunch with the Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra. Treat yourself to a delicious brunch menu and the smooth sounds of jazz.

  • Highland Yoga with Aptitude: 9:30-11am. Enjoy 45-minutes of Highland Yoga in the fields surrounded by Highland Cows, followed by 45-minutes of mini cow cuddles (yes, you get to hug a cow!). Sign up online!
