Rockford Eats campaign continues: Presented by the Rockford Education Foundation. Support our local restaurants in our community—and education, too! When we come together to choose local, we strengthen the connections in our community and the amazing restaurants that give back to education. With every $100 donation to REF you'll be able to select a local restaurant to receive a $50 gift card to.

Trail Tuesdays @ Third Nature Brewing Company: 5-8pm. Every Tuesday stop by between 5 and close and run, walk, bike on the White Pine Trail and receive $2 off your first post workout pint. Be sure to check-in at the host stand. Dogs are welcome in our Biergarten.
Free Stand-Up Comedy Show: 7:15pm at Garage Bar Comedy (819 Ottawa Ave. NW, Grand Rapids, MI). A night of laughter and joy as we host a giveaway for Jim Gaffigan tickets! Bring all your friends along for an unforgettable night.

Spring Farm Walks Marvelous Maples at Meijer Gardens: 10:30am. Michigan’s Farm Garden is the focus for these wonderful springtime walks for preschoolers and their families. Each week, we will explore the farm, participate in family-friendly activities and listen to fun farm stories. Hope to see you down on the farm!

Aptitude Hikes: Connect, Reflect, Recharge: 6:30-7:30pm. Step into nature and into yourself with Aptitude Hikes—a unique blend of movement, mindfulness, and meditation. These guided hikes are designed to help you disconnect from the noise of daily life and reconnect with your breath, your body, and the world around you. Grand Rapids Lantern Festival: 7:30-11:30pm at John Ball Zoo. The Grand Rapids Lantern Festival is a truly breathtaking experience for all ages. John Ball Zoo is the first and only place you can see these incredible works of art in Michigan. The lantern festival will feature handcrafted Asian lantern displays that will illuminate the Zoo and tell the intersecting story of wildlife and Asian culture. Timed tickets sold every 30 minutes. Last entry at 10:30pm. Advanced tickets required. Please arrive to the Zoo no more than 15 minutes before ticket entry time. Event will happen rain or shine. Purchase tickets here!

Saturday Farmer’s Market @ Fulton Street Market: 10am-1pm. 1145 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI. Second Season starts on November 2nd and goes through April 26th. We are open on Saturdays from 10 AM - 1 PM.
Rockford's 3rd Annual Cinco de Mayo Block Party: 11am-8pm. It’s back—Rockford's 3rd Annual Cinco de Mayo Block Party is bringing the flavor, fun, and familia vibes all day long. We’re turning up the celebration of Mexican culture this year. Expect tacos (obviously), drinks, music, games, and local vendors. Kid-approved, dog-welcoming, and bike-friendly. You won't want to miss this!
Rockford Farmers Market: The Rockford Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8am-1pm May 3, 2025 through October 25, 2025. The Farmers Market is located in the newest city lot behind the Post Office with an entrance off Main St across the street from Rocky's.
Harlam Nights GRAM Gala: 6:30-11:30pm. A night of glamour and speakeasy thrills at GRAM Gala 2025. Slip past the velvet rope and into a world of cool cocktails and sizzling jazz at the Museum. Break out those dazzling sequins, decked out top hats, and fancy feathers for a night of opulence inspired by the 1989 film, Harlem Nights. Purchase tickets online.
Nature Makers Market at Blandford Nature Center: 9am-3pm. This market features gifts and goods inspired by nature and created with natural materials. Over 25 vendors will be selling a variety of handcrafted goods including jewelry, textiles, prints and illustrations, stickers, ceramics, and more! Admission to the Nature Makers Market is FREE and open to all ages, no registration required. Shopping includes the Blandford Nature Center gift shop!

Star Wars: A New Hope at Van Andel Arena: 2pm. Presented by the Grand Rapids Symphony. Set 30 years after Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Star Wars: A New Hope returns to the desert planet of Tatooine in the fourth episode of the saga. Find tickets here.
