Monday, April 21

  • Kent District Library Krause Branch Events

    • Baby Time: 10-10:30am. Delight and engage your baby with songs, a story and playtime. Get to know other families and help your baby develop listening and language skills. For babies from birth to 18 months with a caregiver. No registration required. 

    • Rhyme Time Music and Movement: 11:30am-12pm. Move and groove together with action rhymes, songs, games and hands-on musical activities that will help children develop motor, listening and literacy skills. 

  • Rockford Eats begins: Presented by the Rockford Education Foundation. Support our local restaurants in our community—and education, too! When we come together to choose local, we strengthen the connections in our community and the amazing restaurants that give back to education. With every $100 donation to REF you'll be able to select a local restaurant to receive a $50 gift card to.

Tuesday, April 22

  • Kent District Library Krause Branch Events

    • Toddler Time: 10-10:30am. Nurture your toddler's love of books through music, movement and stories while helping to develop their language, motor and social skills.

  • Trail Tuesdays @ Third Nature Brewing Company: 5-8pm. Every Tuesday stop by between 5 and close and run, walk, bike on the White Pine Trail and receive $2 off your first post workout pint. Be sure to check-in at the host stand. Dogs are welcome in our Biergarten.

  • Greek to Go Food Truck Pop Up: 11:30am-6:30pm. (3355 Eagle Park Dr NE Grand Rapids, MI 49525) The menu is chosen by YOU! The most popular voted items will be on the menu! Stay tuned for the poll!

  • Wild Strides 5k at John Ball Zoo: 6-9pm. Celebrate Earth Day with John Ball Zoo’s inaugural Wild Strides 5K! This unique event will bring together runners, walkers, families, and conservation enthusiasts to support the Zoo’s mission of saving wildlife and wild places. The 5K course will take you on a scenic route through the Zoo grounds, past the Grand Rapids Lantern Festival path, and along nearby trails! 5K participants will receive a race t-shirt, finishers medal, and ticket to attend the 2025 Lantern Festival. Kids Fun Run participants will receive a race t-shirt and finishers medal. Sign up online.

Wednesday, April 23

  • Sunset Yoga at Atwater Brewery: 7:30pm. (201 Michigan Street NW, Grand Rapids, MI) Sunset yoga hosted by Mari Sunshine Castilla at their Grand Rapids location.

  • Kent District Library Krause Branch Events:

  • NFL Draft Party at BattleGR: 7-11pm. Looking for a fun and unique way to experience the NFL Draft? Join us at BattleGR for an action-packed evening of sports, games, and great food!

  • Summer 2025 collection reveal called FLOURISH by Gather-d: 10am-6pm. New home decor for you to add summer touches to your spaces both inside and out as well as fashion for the family all your summer gatherings, parties and vacations! Friday, April 25

  • Cannonsburg Carnival: 5:30-7:30pm at Cannonsburg Elementary School(4894 Sturgis Ave NE, Rockford, MI) A night of fun with games, prizes, popcorn, and more! The Cannonsburg Carnival is FREE this Year. Plus, enjoy delicious food from The Pizza Parliament, Patty Matters, and Kona Ice food trucks. They’re looking for parent volunteers and Cannonsburg graduates to help run the games—this can count toward volunteer hours! Sign up HERE to lend a hand.

  • Foraging Buds- Food and Medicine Walks for Kids at Gathered Botanicals: 10:30-11:30am. Reserve your spot this Spring for a unique nature experience perfect for your young foragers and gatherers! Led by Mandi Michielsen of Hum Wildcraft, your child will learn how to identify the Plant of the Week and receive important safety and permission guidelines. After a short walk behind the shop, the group will visit and explore the herb of the week. Then, we'll return to the shop for a light snack featuring the herb and discuss how to make refreshing preparations with it at home.   • Saturday Farmer’s Market @ Fulton Street Market: 10am-1pm. 1145 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI. Second Season starts on November 2nd and goes through April 26th. We are open on Saturdays from 10 AM - 1 PM.

  • Hurt the Dirt Trail Races: 9am at Luton Park (5950 10 Mile Rd NE, Rockford, MI)Race one of the top trails in Michigan with incredible flowing singletrack. Quarter, half or full marathon. Then you’ll put your new knowledge to the test with the guidance of a professional photographer.

  • Vintage and Handmade Market: 10am-4pm @ the Downtown Market GR (435 Ionia Ave SWGrand Rapids). Shop 60+ of the best regional vintage and handmade vendors displaying their treasures under the Market Shed and throughout the parking lot. Enjoy a curated selection of clothing, accessories, decor, and more. Shop, stroll, listen to a live DJ, then head inside for a bite to eat from our Market Hall merchants. This FREE event is presented by Vintage in the Zoo.
