Monday, January 19

  • Trivia at Hopcat: 7-9pm. Grand Rapids, MI. Free to play, prizes for the top teams, and plenty of food + drinks to fuel your brainpower. Whether you’re a casual guesser or a trivia pro, there’s a seat (and maybe a pint) waiting for you.

  • Family Night at Third Nature Brewing Co: 1/2 off kids meals with an adult entree, plus all day happy hour. Open 4-8pm. Visit their website to book an igbrew.

Tuesday, January 20

  • Cozy Tales: 10:30-11am at Meijer Gardens. Grand Rapids, MI. Join us for Cozy Tales featuring Jaume Plensa-inspired stories that celebrate mindfulness, expression, and the beauty of letters and words. Through storytelling, and age-appropriate activities, we will explore creativity while building early literacy skills. Best for ages 5 or younger.

  • Work from the Greenhouse: 11am-4pm. Grand Rapids Downtown Market. LEAF the home office behind and catch some rays while you work in our rooftop Greenhouse! Grab a coffee, snack, or bite to eat from the Market Hall and set up shop in the Greenhouse for a remote work experience that will have you clearing out that inbox with a smile!

  • Euchre Night: 6:30pm at Rockford Brewing Co. Downtown Rockford, MI. There is no cost to play! The winner gets mug club membership and a $30 gift card, second place receives a $20 gift card. If there are ties, RBC staff will figure out prizes.

  • Winter Nights: 5-9pm at Meijer Gardens. Grand Rapids. Winter Nights at Meijer Gardens is back! On select Tuesday evenings, experience a fresh lineup of local and regional artists as they take center stage in the Garden Pavilion and BISSELL Corridor as part of a Carnival at Meijer Gardens. Get ready to move to the rhythm! GR Salsa will energize the crowd with professional, interactive dancing and live instruction for all skill levels. Entry included with general admission. Wednesday, January 21

  • Mom & Baby Barre Class: 10:30-11:15am at Aptitude Fitness & Yoga. Move, connect, and build strength with your baby close to your heart. This 45-minute class combines barre-inspired movement with gentle strength and posture work designed for parents in the pre or postnatal season. Perfect for non-mobile babies, you can wear your little one in a carrier or have them nearby on a blanket. Expect low-impact movement that supports stability, confidence, and community - all in a welcoming space made for you and your baby. No barre experience needed, just bring your baby and your beautiful, real self. Babies up to 18 months (or not walking welcome). Sign up online!

  • Brews & Books: 6pm at Third Nature Brewing Co. Rockford, MI. Sign up online.

  • Lord of the Rings Trivia Night: 6:30pm at Rockford Brewing Co. Downtown Rockford, MI. One trivia night to rule them all!

  • Coffee With Creators: 8am-11am at The Factory. 77 Monroe Center St NW, Suite 600, Grand Rapids. Connect with local creatives, technologists, and entrepreneurs over coffee in a relaxed, low-pressure setting. Whether you’re new to the area, growing your network, or simply looking to meet interesting people, you’re always welcome.

  • Stories That Change Us: 6:30-8:30pm at Celebration Cinema North. Grand Rapids, MI. Join the Mosaic Film Experience for an evening of powerful student-made films and meet the young creators and West Michigan leaders who brought these stories to life. Tickets are $15 and include event access and popcorn. Proceeds support Mosaic Film Experience and Kids' Food Basket, nourishing children to reach their full potential and empowering young storytellers in our community.

Friday, January 23

  • POSTPONED! Ice Piano at World of Winter Festival: 6:30-8:30pm. Ah-Nab-Awen-Park. Downtown Grand Rapids. Enjoy a live musical performance by Charlie Millard and Olivia Vargas. These two local musicians will take turns performing on our handmade ice piano, crafted by the Ice Brigade team.

  • PBR: Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour: 8pm at Van Andel Arena. Downtown Grand Rapids, MI. Find tickets online.

  • College Night at Terra Firma Bouldering Co: 6-10pm. Grand Rapids, MI. Kick off your weekend with climbing, community, and good vibes at College Night! Every Friday from 6pm - 10pm, college students can climb for just $13 with a valid student ID.

Saturday, January 24

  • PBR: Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour: 7pm at Van Andel Arena. Downtown Grand Rapids, MI. Find tickets online.

  • Mountain Minis: 10am girls session & 11:30am coed session at Cannonsburg Ski Area. Belmont, MI. The Mountain Minis is a winter adventure team for kids ages 3-5. The program is designed to get kids outside and having fun in the snow! The Mountain Minis will spend the winter sledding, practicing balance on spooner boards, going on adventure hikes, playing games, drinking hot chocolate and more! Each session is one hour long and will have a different theme each week, incorporating sports, science, fairy tales, and a mandatory hot chocolate break! Register online.

  • Tommy the Bookstore Dog’s 10th Birthday Party: 11am-1pm at Epilogue Books. Downtown Rockford. Join them to celebrate the best bookstore dog Tommy's 10th birthday! Expect special birthday activities, and since this is a BIG birthday, there are some extra special goodies in the mix! Well behaved dogs are welcome too!   • Winter Bridal Show: 11am-4pm at Devos Place. Grand Rapids, MI. The Winter Bridal Show of West Michigan returns to Grand Rapids on Saturday, January 24, 2026 — bringing everything you need to turn your wedding dreams into reality.

  • Backyard Adventures: 10am-5pm at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. In every backyard, playground, or field, there are adventures to be had and discoveries to be made. Have you ever wondered what the world looks like to a bee? How all the bricks in a path lay perfectly together? How a farmer grows a prize-winning pumpkin? In Backyard Adventures, you’ll discover all that and more. Designed with children ages 5 to 12 years old in mind, visitors of all ages will leave with a new appreciation for the science that surrounds them every day.

  • Barre & Brews: 11-11:45am at Third Nature Brewing Co. Come and try a 45 minute barre class! Your first drink is included with the price of class ($15). Bring a yoga mat and 1-3 pound weights. If you don’t have weights, I’ll have extras! Register under house events! Register online.

  • Nature Day: 10am-1pm at the GR Downtown Market. Grand Rapids. Gather your family enjoy Nature Day in the Downtown Market Greenhouse and Banquet Room. They’ll have some fun with furry (and scaly) friends provided by Blandford Nature Center, Grand Rapids Area Bee Club, Grand Rapids Public Library, Humane Society of West Michigan, N&N Exotic Reptiles Rescue, West Michigan Wildlife, and more.

    See the critters up close, learn about animal artifacts, and enjoy Greenhouse activities—then enjoy some lunch from the Market Hall!
