Krause Memorial Library Events:
Baby time: 10-10:30am. Join them for songs, rhymes, stories and playtime while developing listening and language skills. Caregivers will have time to connect with each other while their babies learn and socialize. Designed for babies ages birth to 18 months with their caregivers, but older siblings are welcome. Rhyme Time Music & Movement: 11-11:30am. Get your wiggles out with rhymes, songs and musical activities. Move and groove together while strengthening motor, listening and early literacy skills. Designed for children ages 0-5 with their caregivers, but all ages are welcome. This event will take place at Parkside Early Childhood Center, 156 Lewis St. Rockford, MI 49341.
Krause Evening Book Club: 6:30-7:30pm. Join a fun, informal discussion of great books. This month, we'll discuss The Art Thief by Michael Finkel. This event will take place at City of Rockford - City Hall in the Chamber Room, 7 South Monroe St., Rockford, MI 49341.

Saturday, January 10

Fire & Ice at World of Winter: 6-10pm at Rosa Parks Circle. Downtown Grand Rapids. Enjoy fire performances, figure skating routines and a lively street party with food trucks, interactive activities and live entertainment. Special Guests in Attendance: Grand Rapids Griffin’s Players.
Mountain Minis: 10am girls session & 11:30am coed session at Cannonsburg Ski Area. Belmont, MI. The Mountain Minis is a winter adventure team for kids ages 3-5. The program is designed to get kids outside and having fun in the snow! The Mountain Minis will spend the winter sledding, practicing balance on spooner boards, going on adventure hikes, playing games, drinking hot chocolate and more! Each session is one hour long and will have a different theme each week, incorporating sports, science, fairy tales, and a mandatory hot chocolate break! Register online.

Winter Wellness for Kids: 9am-2pm at Backyard Fun Zone. Cedar Springs, MI. Join them for a full day of winter wellness at Backyard Fun Zone. A cozy, kid-centered event focused on mindfulness, movement, and FUN. $10 per child for the entire day. Kids can enjoy unlimited play on their indoor playsets and Springfree trampolines, plus a special Zen Zone where they can try calming yoga poses and mindfulness activities throughout the day. The Wellness Social at the JW Marriott: 9-11:45am. Join them for an energizing and enriching morning at the second installation of The Wellness Social, a wellness experience featuring fitness classes and mindfulness sessions led by local experts and businesses, all in the comfort of the International Ballroom at the JW Marriott Grand Rapids.
Guests can choose to attend a 45-minute sessions, with three unique class options offered during each time slot, or a 30-minute mini session.
