Krause Memorial Library Events:
Babytime: 10-10:30am. Delight and engage your baby with songs, a story and playtime. Get to know other families and help your baby develop listening and language skills. For babies from birth to 18 months with a caregiver.
Gather 2 Grow! Lunches at the Library: 12-1pm. KDL is proud to partner with Feeding America West Michigan to provide free lunches for students under the age of 18 or up to 26 years of age for people with disabilities. (Easy pick-up, shelf-stable, nutritious meals are pre-packaged with several options available to fit almost any dietary need.)
Ruff Readers: 6:30-7:30pm. This unique read-aloud program in partnership with West Michigan Therapy Dogs, Inc. pairs kids with a trained therapy dog and their handler. Kids read their favorite book and the pooches curl up, listen and enjoy. Arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and secure a time slot. First come, first served.
FREE zumba at Rosa Parks Circle: 6:30-7:15pm. Zumba is a fast, fun, and upbeat dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music. Every class feels like a party, so you will burn calories without even realizing it! All levels welcome. Drop-in, no registration required. No equipment required. Please bring a water. Moving to the Music at Lena Meijer Children’s Garden: 10:30am-1:30pm. Be part of our musical jam! Play an instrument, clap your hands, tap your toes, lend a voice. Follow along with local musicians as we make music. Inside Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.

Mad Science Presents Color Your World: 2-3pm. Watch and learn as our mad scientists teach about color science, featuring colorful chemical reactions, a rainbow maker that uses heat and ice, fun with colors using the pH scale and so much more. This program is designed for patrons ages 5 to 10.
Rogue River Blues Series: 7-9pm. Join us in Garden Club Park on Tuesday's from 7-9pm for live music near the dam. Grab some food and drinks from your favorite local spots before listening to live music and dancing the night away. Get the full event list HERE.
Hit the Trail Tuesday Women’s Run Club: 7:15pm at Pickett Park in Rockford, MI. No registration required.
Trail Tuesdays at Third Nature Brewing Company: 5-8pm. Join us for Trail Tuesdays! Every Tuesday stop by between 5 and close and run, walk, bike on the White Pine Trail and receive $2 off your first post workout pint. We’ll raise a glass to that! Be sure to check-in at the host stand. Dogs are welcome in our Biergarten if you would like for your four legged friend to join. Grab the family and friends for some exercise followed by a Biergarten meal and a pint.
Taco Tuesday at Cannonsburg: 5-9pm. Taco Tuesday takes place on the back deck every Tuesday. There will be a variety of tacos including pork, beef, chicken and always have a veggie option! Rockford Book Bus - Family Fun Night at Lakes: 5:30-7pm. Join the Lakes PTO and Rockford Book Bus for a Family Fun Night! On this special Book Bus stop night, the Lakes PTO will be coordinating Food Trucks and other fun activities in addition to the regular Book Bus activities. Rockford Farmers Market: The Rockford Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8am-1pm May 3, 2025 through October 25, 2025. The Farmers Market is located in the newest city lot behind the Post Office with an entrance off Main St across the street from Rocky's.

Dawg Days of Summer: 9am at Cannonsburg Ski Area. Dawg Days of Summer is BACK! Join us on Sunday, August 3rd, for a mountain bike race JUST FOR KIDS! There will be several different divisions/courses designed for various skill and endurance levels. Besides racing, there will be bouncy houses and other games to play. There also will be a strider (bikes without pedals) race available for our littlest racers. The 15-20 minute race will be at the base of the ski hill for maximum visibility and cheers. This will be the Strider National Championships...don't miss out! Anyone ages 2-15 are welcome to participate in Dawg Days of Summer, you do not have to be a current Dirt Dawg to race!
