Monday, July 21

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Babytime: 10-10:30am. Delight and engage your baby with songs, a story and playtime. Get to know other families and help your baby develop listening and language skills. For babies from birth to 18 months with a caregiver.

    • Gather 2 Grow! Lunches at the Library: 12-1pm. KDL is proud to partner with Feeding America West Michigan to provide free lunches for students under the age of 18 or up to 26 years of age for people with disabilities. (Easy pick-up, shelf-stable, nutritious meals are pre-packaged with several options available to fit almost any dietary need.)

    • Ruff Readers: 6:30-7:30pm. This unique read-aloud program in partnership with West Michigan Therapy Dogs, Inc. pairs kids with a trained therapy dog and their handler. Kids read their favorite book and the pooches curl up, listen and enjoy. For school age children (ages 5-10). Arrive 15 minutes early to sign in and secure a time slot. First come, first served.

  • FREE zumba at Rosa Parks Circle: 6:30-7:15pm. Zumba is a fast, fun, and upbeat dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music. Every class feels like a party, so you will burn calories without even realizing it! All levels welcome. Drop-in, no registration required. No equipment required. Please bring a water. Location: 135 Monroe Center St NW, Grand Rapids

  • Moving to the Music at Lena Meijer Children’s Garden: 10:30am-1:30pm. Be part of our musical jam! Play an instrument, clap your hands, tap your toes, lend a voice. Follow along with local musicians as we make music. Inside Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park.

  • Summer Camps at Meijer Garden: 9am-12pm. Explore Meijer Gardens like never before!  We’ll visit a new and exciting area of Meijer Gardens each day to engage in fun, kid-friendly activities! Campers will create their own 18″ x 18″ gallery wall and will create and display a new piece of art, inspired by the location they visited, on their gallery wall each day.  Please bring a snack and a water bottle each day. This is a 4-day camp that meets Monday-Thursday. $120 member / $140 non-member. Register here!

  • Deck Nights at Cannonsburg: 5-8pm. Join us on the deck for grilled food and drinks! There is plenty of space on the deck and out in the lawn, so bring your whole crew and enjoy summer to the fullest. Location: 6800 Cannonsburg Rd NE, Belmont, MI

  • Silhouettes: 10:30am at Tip Toes. Ada, MI. Disney artist returns to handcut your child's perfect silhouette portrait! 2 mated copies $45 with oval frame optional. Wiggly kids welcome! Children may sit with parents. Perfect gift idea! Reserve your time here.

Tuesday, July 22

  • Krause Memorial Library Events:

    • Toddler Time: 10-10:30am. Nurture your toddler's love of books through music, movement and stories while helping to develop their language, motor and social skills.

    • Panel Cartoon Palooza: 2-3pm. Nothing makes people laugh like a perfectly drawn single panel cartoon. We'll dive headfirst into thinking about, laying out and drawing these classics of the newspaper era.

  • Rogue River Blues Series: 7-9pm. Join us in Garden Club Park on Tuesday's from 7-9pm for live music near the dam. Grab some food and drinks from your favorite local spots before listening to live music and dancing the night away. Get the full event list HERE.

  • Hit the Trail Tuesday Women’s Run Club: 7:15pm at Pickett Park in Rockford, MI. No registration required.

  • Trail Tuesdays at Third Nature Brewing Company: 5-8pm. Join us for Trail Tuesdays! Every Tuesday stop by between 5 and close and run, walk, bike on the White Pine Trail and receive $2 off your first post workout pint. We’ll raise a glass to that! Be sure to check-in at the host stand. Dogs are welcome in our Biergarten if you would like for your four legged friend to join. Grab the family and friends for some exercise followed by a Biergarten meal and a pint.

  • Taco Tuesday at Cannonsburg: 5-9pm. Taco Tuesday takes place on the back deck every Tuesday. There will be a variety of tacos including pork, beef, chicken and always have a veggie option! The Sweet Spot (also on the back deck) for adult slushies, frozen cocktails, ice cream and other treats! Location: Cannonsburg Ski Area 6800 Cannonsburg Rd NE.

  • Grand Rapids Art Museum Free Tuesdays: 12-5pm. Free admission all day made possible by The Meijer Foundation.

  • Rockford Book Bus: 11:00am at Brideway Community Church. Location: 7700 Childsdale Ave, Rockford, MI

  • Mystery Movie Tuesday: 7pm at Kent Theatre. Cedar Springs, MI. Free admission.

Wednesday, July 23

    • Nick Thomas Entertainment: 2-3pm. Get ready to laugh at this family-friendly comedy, juggling and magic show. The show includes audience participation, world class juggling routines and a light-up LED juggling finale.

  • Aptitude Hikes: Move, Breathe, Connect: 6:30-7:30pm. Rockford, MI. Step into nature and into yourself with Aptitude Hikes—a unique blend of movement, mindfulness, and meditation. These guided hikes are designed to help you disconnect from the noise of daily life and reconnect with your breath, your body, and the world around you. Sign up online!

  • Wednesdays On Wealthy: 4-8pm. Gaslight Village, GR. Live music, yard games, business discounts, a food truck, and more. Grab takeout from your favorite Gaslight Village restaurants and enjoy it outside in Regatta Plaza while soaking up the summer vibes.

  • Barre & Bonfires: 6:30pm at Third Nature Brewing Co. Rockford, MI. Class is beginner-friendly. All you need to bring is a yoga mat and water. Class will be on the second floor of Third Nature inside. Following class, head outside for a beverage, bonfire, and some Michigan summer time! The cost is $15 for an individual or $25 to register two people at once, including your drink ticket. Class can be paid in cash the day of or via venmo @Molly-Cook-12. Sign up online!

  • Botanical Ink Making: 6-7:30pm at Plainsong Farm. Rockford, MI. Join children’s book illustrator and designer, Gabrielle Eisma, for a class full of colorful botanical inking made with foraged native and invasive plants. In this class, you will be introduced to many plant sources that create inks, and learn how to modify homemade ink to create different natural colors, and learn tips and tricks for making your own botanical ink. You will leave with a booklet of botanical ink recipes and tips for every color of the rainbow you can make in your own kitchen or studio, and a homemade color chart from the specially made inks from the class! Designed for ages 13+. This workshop is $25/person and $35/family will be held at Plainsong Farm (6677 12 Mile Rd NE, Rockford).

  • FREE Hip Hop Yoga at Pleasant Park: 7-7:45pm. Hip Hop Yoga is where mindful movement meets high-energy vibes! This class blends the fluidity of yoga with the rhythm and intensity of hip-hop music, creating an experience that is both grounding and empowering. Flow through dynamic sequences, deep stretches, and powerful poses set to a curated playlist of hip-hop beats that will keep you moving and motivated. Whether you want to improve flexibility, build strength, or vibe out while you flow, Hip Hop Yoga brings a fresh, fun twist to your practice. All levels are welcome.   • Grand Rapids Art Museum Free Thursdays: 5-9pm. Free admission made possible by The Meijer Foundation.

  • Relax at Rosa Park Circle: 12-1:30pm. Downtown Grand Rapids. This free lunchtime concert series feat. a variety of local bands, food trucks, and performers every Thursday from May 1 to September 11.

  • East Grand Rapids Farmers Market: 8:30am-1pm. In the NORTH PARKING LOT of the East Grand Rapids Community Center on Thursdays this July & August each week from 8:30am-1:00pm for the 2025 Farmers Market season!

Friday, July 25

  • Friday’s At the Farm at Meijer Gardens: 10:30am-1:30pm. Have bushels of family fun this summer! Children of all ages will enjoy farm-time fun working together on "chore challenges" and joining in on special farm-inspired stories, games, music, and more. We hope to see you all down on the farm!

  • Live Music at Third Nature Brewing Co. 4:30-7:30pm. Rockford, MI. Trillium is a four-piece group based in Western Michigan.

  • Friar Fight Rocks the River: 7pm. Legacy Park in Downtown, Ada. Whether you’ve been rocking with us since year one or this is your first time, you won’t want to miss this community celebration in support of Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD).

  • Ribbon Cutting at LB Golf: 3-4pm. 4386 14 Mile Rd NE. Rockford, MI

Saturday, July 26

  • Rockford Farmers Market: The Rockford Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 8am-1pm May 3, 2025 through October 25, 2025. The Farmers Market is located in the newest city lot behind the Post Office with an entrance off Main St across the street from Rocky's.

  • Saturday Farmer’s Market @ Fulton Street Market: 10am-1pm. 1145 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI. Second Season starts on November 2nd and goes through April 26th. We are open on Saturdays from 10 AM - 1 PM.

  • Yoga by the Dam with Aptitude: 8:30-9:30am. Start your Saturday off right with FREE community yoga by the beautiful Rogue River, presented by Aptitude Fitness + Yoga! Join us for a rejuvenating morning of yoga, meditation, and pranayama (breathwork) overlooking the scenic views of the river. This all-levels, beginner-friendly class welcomes everyone, so bring your family and friends along for some yoga fun!   • Creston Farmers Market: 9am-1pm. The Creston Farmers Market is back for its second season—now at a NEW location, 123 Caledonia St NE (Creston West Lot)! Join them every Saturday from June 7 to September 27, 9 AM to 1 PM. Shop local favorites like fresh produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, coffee, honey, and so much more.

  • Summer Market at Frugthaven Farm: 10am-4pm. Shop your favorite local boutiques and artists while strolling the beautiful grounds at Frugthaven Farm with a craft cocktail from Applewood Kitchen + Bar. Sunday, July 27

  • Restorative Yoga at Aptitude: 6-7pm. Join us all summer long for fun, affordable, and energizing community fitness + yoga classes!   • Sunday Strings at Meijer Garden: 2-3pm. Grand Rapids, MI. Join in the Huizenga Grand Room this Sunday, July 20, at 2 pm. These pop-up performances are free for members and included in general admission for other guests.
