Cozy Tales: 10:30-11am at Meijer Gardens. Grand Rapids, MI. Join us for Cozy Tales featuring Jaume Plensa-inspired stories that celebrate mindfulness, expression, and the beauty of letters and words. Through storytelling, and age-appropriate activities, we will explore creativity while building early literacy skills. Best for ages 5 or younger.

Winter Nights: 5-9pm at Meijer Gardens. Grand Rapids. Winter Nights at Meijer Gardens is back! On select Tuesday evenings, experience a fresh lineup of local and regional artists as they take center stage in the Garden Pavilion and BISSELL Corridor as part of a Carnival at Meijer Gardens. An immersive, multi-artist experience that celebrates Black History Month by highlighting the influence, community, and spirit of hip-hop. Lady Ace Boogie & Friends is a high-energy hip-hop showcase curated by one of the city’s most compelling voices, bringing together a handpicked lineup of artists, live instrumentation, and musicians for a rich blend of sharp lyricism, raw storytelling, and community-driven energy. Steven Malcolm makes faith-driven hip-hop that’s as unique as his multicultural background. It’s a sound rooted in rap’s rhythmic delivery, pop’s modern melodies, and God’s Word, glued together by an artist whose music has earned seven Dove Award nominations and more than 130 million streams.

Valentine’s Luminary Evening: 6-8pm at Blandford Nature Center. Take a romantic evening hike on a lantern-lit trail with your loved one. Listen to the crunch of snow, maybe the hoot of owls, and the sweet whispers of the wind in your ear while you experience the magic of winter in Michigan. The self-guided luminary walk is for all experience levels. After your walk, warm yourself by the fire pit or in our historic Schoolhouse while you enjoy wine, hard cider, or hot cocoa and chocolates. Beverages are not included in the ticket price but will be available for purchase! In the event of sufficient snow, a limited number of snowshoes will be available to rent the evening of the program for $6 per pair.
